I hope guys are enjoying your weekend and having a wonderful summer. So crazy, to think it's almost over! I've got lots going on, as I just re-enrolled in college! Classes start in a little over a week, so I'm getting the last of my vacations in between now and then. I'm headed to Orlando for a few days with my friend Lindsay, who is flying in from DC, and then Key West with my boyfriend. Can't wait!
Now that I've shifted careers and am working as a freelance social media specialist and podcast host, I've decided now is the time to go back and finish the degree I started. It's something I've always wanted to do and better late than never, right? I have my Associate in Arts Degree, but I never finished my Baccalaureate, since my career kept me busy for the last 10 years. I'm majoring in Mass Communications at the University of South Florida. Go Bulls! My concentration is Journalism and Media Studies. I'm truly looking forward to it, as weird as that probably sounds. I enjoy learning new things and I can't wait for all the writing intensive classes (nerd alert!). I say that now, but I'm sure I'll have to come back and re-read this post during finals to remind myself!
I wanted to share this life update with you guys, because I know I'm not the only one who has ever thought about going back to school. It's never too late and surprisingly there were a ton of students the same age as me at orientation! Yay for not feeling like an old lady!! Anyone else major in Mass Comm? Were there any classes you really loved? Comment down below and let me know!
